Room parents help organize events, support class initiatives, coordinate tokens of appreciation for homeroom teachers and aides, and build community at the classroom and grade level. The time commitment varies by grade and teacher, but includes a one hour virtual orientation in late September, and coordinating gifts at calendar and school year end in addition to Teacher and Staff Appreciation week in early May.
