A Note from our PTA President:

As we wrap up the school year, our final newsletter wouldn’t be complete without some recognitions! Thank you to our extraordinary PTA Board & Committees - your unwavering commitment, countless volunteer hours behind-the-scenes, and boundless energy and creativity have been instrumental in supporting our students and teachers, hosting events to build lasting memories (and keeping us informed about them!), and growing a community that we are all blessed to be a part of. 

On behalf of the PTA Board, I also extend heartfelt thanks to (super) Principal Siam, our teachers and staff, and our families. As we’ve all partnered together - through Back-to-School events, Multicultural celebrations, Parents Night Out and parties, Walkathon, Book Fair, Campout, Eaglefest, Yearbook, volunteering in the classroom and on field trips, and much more - it’s been amazing to see how community engagement has cultivated a joyful experience for our kids (and parents!).

THIS WEEK’s HIGHLIGHTS:

• Stay Connected - it may be summer break but we’ll continue to provide updates via various channels!

  • We recently launched our brand new PTA Website–check it out!

  • Subscribe to our Google Calendar

  • Current school year’s Konstella materials will be archived in early August. Please download all media files, links, conversations that you’d like to keep by 7/31.

• NexTrex Recycling

  • Collection bins will be kept outside of the school office during the summer break and you are welcome to drop off clean, acceptable items at any time.

  • We are still trying to reach 1,000lbs of plastic by the end of the year in hopes to get a free bench!

• Yearbooks

  • All yearbooks have been distributed! Hope you'll enjoy flipping the pages with your kiddos.

  • For anyone who still wants to get a copy, please purchase directly from the Treering website and it will be shipped to your address.

• Principal’s Announcements

  • Students will get the Imai Summer Reading Challenge as well as Mountain View Public Library's Summer Reading Log. We encourage everyone to keep up with reading over the break!

  • Report cards will be available for access on PowerSchool today at 4pm.

• TK/Kinder Summer Playdates

  • PTA hosted summer playdates at Cooper Park are for all incoming TK, Kindergarten and new students.

    • #1 - Fri, 6/12 at 4-6pm

    • #2 - Sat, 7/25 at 10am-12pm

  • If you know anyone who will be joining Imai, please invite them to attend the play dates!

• Fall 2026 After School Programs

  • The After School Programs team is working on offerings for next school year and a few classes have already opened up Fall registration. More will be available throughout summer and in early August. Please check the After School section on the Imai PTA website for the latest.

  • Reach out to afterschool@imaipta.org for any questions.

• Lost & Found - Claim your child’s items at lost and found before the end of today! All unclaimed items will be donated.

• Save the Date

  • Imai Beautification Day, Aug 9 (Sun) – All are welcome to come! Details will be emailed out later this summer.
