🌎 Earth Month: Bingo Challenge, Walk & Roll to School, and other celebrations
Mon, Apr 13 2:10pm

Welcome back from Spring Break!

From now until May 1st, we challenge our students to complete the Earth Day Bingo. By completing all 9 activities, they can turn in the Bingo sheet to the school office and receive a small prize (be sure to write their name and classroom on the back). The classroom with the most completed Bingos will win a popsicle party!

Here are a few of the activities they can find on the Bingo sheet:

🚢‍β™‚οΈπŸš² πŸ›΄ School-wide Walk and Roll event is TOMORROW 4/14. We encourage everyone to walk, bike, or scooter to school. Students can check off the activity on the Bingo if they arrive at school by any of the methods listed above (parking a block away and walk in counts!). Find a Safe Routes Map at the City of MV’s website.

♻️ NexTrex Plastic Recycling. Bring acceptable items to the school bins. Everything must be DRY and CLEAN.

πŸ“– Read about the Environment. Get inspired for Earth Month at the Imai Library! Ms. Alisa has a wide selection of books to help students start conversations about protecting our planet. Go check one out today!

βœ‚οΈ Recycled Materials Crafts. On Earth Day 4/22, staff will be leading some simple, environmentally friendly crafts during lunch which students can participate in.

Our Bingo sheet is packed with easy, family-friendly activities designed to help us all work together for a cleaner, healthier Earth.
