  • *NEW* Imai Sustainability Campaigns: In partnership with MVWSD, we are launching a few campaigns in January. Some new, some familiar. We encourage everyone to REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE♻️!

  1. Stationary Recycling

    • Got old markers, crayons, pens and other stationary lying around? You can now bring them to our school's dedicated collection drawers outside of Principal Siam's office, and we will take them to a local drop off point for recycling.

    • Items accepted: pens, pencils, markers, sharpies, highlighters, crayons, rulers, empty glue bottles/sticks.

    • This is an ongoing effort and you are welcome to drop off your items any time after the holiday break.

  2. NexTrex Plastic Recycling Challenge

    • We will have dedicated bins from NexTrex on the school site for plastic film collection.

    • EVERYTHING MUST BE DRY AND CLEAN

    • Items accepted: plastic film, grocery bags, case wrappers, bubble wrap, plastic shipping envelopes, ziploc and other reclosable bags (for full list, please see attached flyer).

    • Start gathering items at home, especially over the holidays from all those gifts and shopping! A magnet will go home with each student so be sure to put it up as a reminder.

    • If we collect 1,000 lbs by December 2026, we get a free Trex Bench for the school!

  3. Board Games & Puzzle Swap

    • Returning by popular demand is the Board Game & Puzzle Swap.

    • Collection period: Jan. 12-16

    • Shop for free: Jan. 21-23

    • Items accepted: board games, card games, games like Jenga, Connect Four, and jigsaw puzzles.

    • More information on the flyer attached.

  • [Reminder] Holiday Recess 12/22 - 1/5
During the break, we hope your child is able to complete the Winter Reading Challenge. Turn it in January for cool prizes and even an extra recess!
