Imai Parents and Friends, take note! Our new community-building social event and fundraiser for Imai Elementary PTA is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, and NOW is the time to start preparing! Key details are below, with full details available in the attached document or online at imaipta.org/walkathon.

WHEN? Saturday, March 19, from 9:30 to 1:30pm
WHERE? On the Imai field behind the school
WHY? To reunite our community and bring back our amazing school and community spirit!
WHAT? Students (and family members) will walk laps together on a defined track/course behind the school. There will also be music, food, fun and prizes for the kids. Students can optionally obtain pledges from friends, family and neighbors who can donate a fixed amount or pledge an amount for each lap walked.
WHO? All Imai students and siblings who plan to walk can register. Parents and other family members can join in without registration.
HOW DO YOU SIGN UP? Registration (for student/sibling walkers) is $12. Only those who PRE-REGISTER BY MARCH 2 will get a walkathon t-shirt and a voucher for snack and drink. Register online at Formsite.
To collect pledges, you should also register at Pledgestar and that registration can be done at any time.
T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST: Student entries for our t-shirt design contest are being collected thru this Wednesday, Feb. 16. The design should go with our theme "Better Together" and entries can be dropped at the office or emailed to email@example.com.
CAN YOU HELP AT THE WALKATHON? We'll need a team of volunteers to help working short shifts on the day of the event. Watch Konstella for sign-up sheets coming soon.
