NEWS and UPDATES from IMAI ELEMENTARY PTA May 16, 2023

Hi parents! We'll keep it brief, but our updates today are important and urgent:

1. We still need about 40 volunteers for Eaglefest this Friday. We ask every family to take one easy 30-minute volunteer shift to help us supervise and operate things.
   We'd hate to have to shut things down early, but we have to finalize instructions and scheduling decisions... so please sign up now or by end of day Wednesday!
2. Eaglefest Karaoke Signups will close tomorrow (Wednesday). Remind your little singers to browse DJ Purple's song catalog and then sign up for a slot at the Karaoke stand.
3. Review the Eaglefest info flyer that came home with kids last Friday. (A copy is attached to this email.) For kids to participate in Eaglefest activities, parents must check them in at the MUR when you arrive (before 7:00pm) to sign a PTA waiver and get wristbands.
4. Year-End PTA meeting tomorrow evening (Wednesday, May 17) @ 7pm. It's our last meeting of the year with updates from the principal and parent leaders and some important budget business to vote on! RSVP/Register on Konstella and meeting materials will be sent in advance.
5. THANKS to the kids and parents who made our staff feel appreciated last week! We received many comments from our staff who felt the Imai love.
