Imai Parents, it's a big week! We've got an important deadline (today!), an important meeting (Wednesday) and our big annual Walkathon (Saturday). Read below for more details:
- TODAY is last day for Walkathon pre-registration discount
- Other walkathon reminders and shout-outs
- PTA meeting and elections this Wednesday evening
WALKATHON THIS SATURDAY! And TODAY is the last day to pre-register for the event for $13 per student walker. (On-site registration Saturday will be $20.) Register online here, after which you'll receive a link to a personal pledge page you can share with family and friends.
WALKATHON TIPS AND REMINDERS: Is the event on if it rains? Will there be food? These answers and more important info will be on an information sheet coming home with your student in this week's Friday folders. Find it Friday afternoon, and you'll be fully informed.
THANK YOU TO OUR WALKATHON PLANNERS: We appreciate the hard work of Vrishali W., Minfang C., Doris H., Melissa K., Nidhi D., Kashyap P., Carmen N., Judy W. and Mona P. for all their efforts to plan what will be another awesome walkathon! And thank you to all the rest of you parent volunteers taking shifts on our volunteer sign-up sheet. We need just a few more hands and we'll be in great shape.
PTA GENERAL MEETING AND ELECTIONS THIS WEDNESDAY: Please join us (we need quorum!) for our Imai PTA general association meeting this Wednesday at 7pm on Zoom. Agenda includes election of our 2023-24 officers along with other updates from Principal Siam and other PTA business. It's a great opportunity to get learn about what's happening at school and get connected with other parents in our community.
