Today is National Principal’s Day, and we want to honor our very own Mrs. Siam! Her devotion to the students and school is remarkable and her ability to make every student feel seen and valued is what truly sets her apart. Join us in thanking her today—and every day—for all she does!

THIS WEEK’s HIGHLIGHTS:

• Imai Children’s Business Fair: Sat, 5/2 from 9am-12pm

  • Support student entrepreneurs by shopping at 50+ booths offering unique student-created items and games.

  • Cash-only event – small bills recommended.

• Earth Month Bingo due TODAY in the school office to receive a prize and to be counted towards the class popsicle contest.

• FINAL DEADLINE for Yearbook: Thu, 5/7 

  • Order HERE by May 7 to ensure that it arrives in time before school ends. You don’t want your kid to miss out on signing each other’s yearbooks at the end of the year.

  • Cost is $30 + tax (but the memories are priceless!)

• Staff Appreciation Week: May 4-8 (next week)
  

  • We encourage every student to bring their teacher/instructional assistant/staff member an item based on these Daily Themes:
    

  • • Monday—a flower from your garden 🌷

    • Tuesday—a homemade card ✍️

    • Wednesday—a beverage such as flavored water, soda, or coffee 🥤

    • Thursday—something they can use to start their spring garden 🌱

    • Friday—a sweet treat 🍫 (no homemade treats, please) 

  • Any day of the week - Help re-stock the staff break room with donations of bulk snacks and drinks!

• The Great Imai Camp Out: Sat, 5/9 3:30pm to Sun, 5/10 10am

  • Camping OVERNIGHT at school? YES! Pitch your tent, play games, sing some songs as we bring families together, have fun and enjoy the creation of epic new memories.

  • Dinner and a continental breakfast with coffee will be served.

  • Cost is $25 per person, or what you can afford to donate.

• EAGLEFEST is in 2 weeks - Fri, May 15 (5-8 pm) 

  • We need your help to make sure this is a great event!

  • We need VOLUNTEERS in order to make sure we can provide a safe and fun experience for our kids. We are hoping EACH family that attends will take one 45 minute shift.  If we can't fill the spots, we will be forced to reduce the number of available inflatables and activities.   • KARAOKE sign-up is open. Put in your song choices ahead of time to guarantee a time to sing!

  • Do you love to bake? Consider donating baked goods for our much loved Cake Walk. Sign up for treats donation.
