THIS WEEK’s HIGHLIGHTS:

• EAGLEFEST is next Fri, May 16 (5-8 pm): All the info you need to be ready for Eaglefest is here!  

BUT....we also need your help as we are at risk of having to cancel our bounce houses due to lack of parent volunteers.

We need 50+ more volunteers before Wed in order to make sure we can provide a safe and fun experience for our kids. We are hoping EACH family that attends will take one 45 minute shift.  If we can't fill the spots, we will be forced to reduce the number of available inflatables and activities.

• Great Imai Campout: Sat, May 17 at 3:30 pm to Sun, May 18 at 10 am at Camp Imai [Field]

  • Camping OVERNIGHT at school? YES! Pitch your tent, play games, sing some songs as we bring families together, have some fun, and enjoy the creation of epic new memories.

  • Dinner and a continental breakfast will be served.

• Destination Imagination (DI) is a new enrichment opportunity coming to Imai next year—a fun, hands-on program where students in 3rd through 5th grade work in small teams to solve creative, STEM-based challenges. (To learn more about DI, click here.)

  • We are seeking parent volunteers to serve as Team Managers. The more parents we have to help, the more students can participate. It starts in the fall and ends with a tournament in early spring. Training and resources are available; no specific skills or experience are required.
