• PTA Membership and Donation Drive (ends Sept 23): It’s not too late to Join PTA today and contribute to fund the many programs that benefit EVERY STUDENT at Imai. Each year, the PTA spends ~$300+ per student, and we can do this thanks to donations from families LIKE YOURS choosing to invest in our community.

HOW is MEMBERSHIP DRIVE doing?

• Total PTA members lower than last year: Currently at 263 vs. 305 (in 2022). Join today so we can bump that number up to 300+!
• Donation stats: $24,239 (~60% of our $40k goal) donated by ~37% of Imai families.
• Popsicle Contest standings:
  • Mrs. Chesley (Kinder, Rm 2) - 87%
  • Ms. Luongo/McClellan (3rd grade, Rm 6), Ms. Schaefer (5th grade, Rm 16) - tied at 64%
  • Ms. Ngo (2nd grade, Rm 12) - 63%

How to join PTA:

For new members: 

• Go to this link and click “Join with email”
• Enter your name, email, and then create a password. Click “Sign up with Email”
• For membership type, select “Parent/Guardian” or another appropriate option 
• Check out with credit card. Membership is just $12 (+$1 convenience fee).

To renew your membership:

• Log into Totem with your email and password
• Renew your membership

How do I donate? Suggested donation is $200 per child, but any amount is appreciated!

• Via Totem: When you become a member or renew your membership, you can add a donation
• Via employer giving portal (e.g. Benevity): Search for “Amy Imai Elementary PTA”, Tax ID:77-0492242, and don’t forget to request a match!
• Via check payable to “Amy Imai Elementary PTA”
