EAGLEFEST
Eaglefest is only 3 days away and we are in desperate need of your help! If we cannot get our Inflatables, Karaoke, and Face Painting volunteer shifts filled by tomorrow, we will be forced to reduce the number of available inflatables and activities.
We need 28 volunteers for Inflatables, 5 for Karaoke and 9 for Face Painting. The shifts where we need the most help are the following:
-
Inflatables
-
5:00pm - 5:45pm
-
6:30pm - 7:15pm
-
7:15pm - 8:00pm
-
Face Painting
-
7:15pm 8:00pm
-
Karaoke Line Helper
-
5:00pm - 5:45pm
-
6:30pm - 7:15pm
-
7:15pm - 8:00pm
We can't leave the inflatables unattended so we need more parents to please sign up for a 45-minute shift. Same for Face Painting and Karaoke. If we can't get the shifts filled, we will have no choice but to close everything as early as 6:30pm on Friday.
FAQ:
Q: Why do they need to be filled by Wednesday?
A: That allows us time to send out volunteer instructions on Thursday.
Q: I volunteered last year for Eaglefest, why do I need to help again?
A: Since this is a FREE event we rely on over 100 parent volunteers to take a volunteer shift. In some cases, parents are taking 3 or 4 shifts to help us get enough coverage.
Q: I need to be with my kids – how can I volunteer?
A: If you have young children, try to find other families who can take turns watching one another’s kids while the parents volunteer for the event. Show true Imai community spirit by taking care of each other! If you have responsible upper grade children, allow them to hang out with friends while you take a short 45-minute shift.
Q: I've never volunteered before – how will I know what to do?
A: Most of the jobs are super easy + we will send detailed instructions by volunteer area on Thursday to make sure you know what to do.
Q: What's in it for me?
A: Most of the students at Imai name Eaglefest as the activity they love the most! Your 45 minutes of time will help us create wonderful memories for your child, give you a chance to meet other volunteers and help ensure our students can be safe. AND each volunteer gets a free cotton candy!
We are hoping EACH family that attends will take one 45 minute shift.
Thank you for your support!
