BACK TO SCHOOL reminders for this whirlwind week!

• Tue, Aug 12 (3-4pm): Meet the Teachers and PTA Popsicle Party - Drop by campus to say hello to your new teachers! And, stop by the PTA table for popsicles and more information on membership and how to be involved with the Imai community.

• Wed, Aug 13: First Day of School - Minimum day - dismissal at 11:55am

• Thu, Aug 14: Normal Thursday Minimum day - dismissal at 11:55am

• Fri, Aug 15: Normal day schedule

• 8:15-9:00am Principal's Welcome Back Coffee in the MUR

VOLUNTEER BADGE PROCESS: Processing of 2025-26 Regular Volunteer applications will begin after Aug 13. Parents can volunteer as Infrequent Volunteers prior to badging.

• Frequent Volunteers are defined as those who are on campus more than 16 hours per month or 32 hours per year, or plan to attend an overnight field trip.

• Complete directions for the volunteer application process are available here at the MVWSD website. You can also refer to Principal Siam’s welcome back letter on Aug 1.

• Note: Volunteering at PTA events outside of school hours (e.g. Beautification Day, Book Fair, Walkathon, Eaglefest) does not count towards the hours mentioned above.

KONSTELLA REMINDERS:

• Please place your students into their classroom on Konstella. This helps parents and teachers in your classroom communicate with each other. 

• Directions: On a computer: Log into Konstella.com → Click on your name at the top left → Select "your children" and then, for each student, "Join Classroom" to place your students in their respective rooms.
  Directions: On the Konstella App → Click on the settings symbol at the top left → Select “Your Children” and then, for each student, “Join Classroom” to place your students in their respective rooms.
  

• If you know a family new to Imai, invite them to join Konstella. 

• Directions: Direct them to https://www.konstella.com/cd/XCAZGL → Enter email address → Click “Join as a parent” → Check email for an invitation from Konstella, and Click “Join Imai Parents // Imai PTA”.
