A message from the 2023 PTA Nominating Committee

URGENT: Parents Needed for 2024-2025 Imai PTA Board

Dear Imai Parents,

We need YOU to help sustain our PTA and the good work we do! Our Nominating Committee has been working to fill the PTA Executive Board and support roles for next school year. All roles are critical to maintaining the high quality programs at our school. We have a few positions that must be filled in order to have a functioning PTA. Most roles require a pre-defined time commitment, and this is a wonderful way to meet other Imai parents and connect with the school community.

We are currently looking to identify candidates for the following PTA Board roles for the 2024-2025 school year:

• President 
• Executive VP

If we are unable to fill these roles by February 26th, Imai will not have a PTA next year. Without the PTA, beloved classroom programs, teacher support, auction parties, walkathon, staff appreciation, book fair, Eagle Fest and more will not be possible.

The good news is that over 10 board positions are already filled and the work would be well distributed across a very experienced and supportive team. Additionally, the current president is planning to stay on the board and help the transition as needed. Even if you are new to the PTA, you'll have an amazing and supportive group of fellow parent volunteers to help you.  

In addition to the executive positions, some other roles that we are looking to fill include: 

• Historian (1) 
• Book Fair Coordinator (2) 
• Yearbook Coordinator (1)
