The Book Fair is almost here! Come explore a curated selection of new releases and student favorites brought to you by Linden Tree Books. (see attachment for title previews)

Prepaid Gift Cards: Parents are encouraged to purchase gift cards for shopping at the fair in lieu of cash/credit card. Get yours today via Linden Tree’s portal by Mon. 4/20 at 7pm.

Teacher Wish Lists: Show our teachers (and the classroom libraries) some love by purchasing items from their wish lists! Ask a Linden Tree sales associate or book fair volunteer on how to purchase.

We hope to borrow some folding tables to use for displaying the books. If you have any to loan to us, drop them off on Friday 4/17 2:30-3pm or Monday 4/20 7:30-8am at the library. Please label the tables with your name.

EARTH MONTH CELEBRATIONS & ACTIVITIES 🌎

BINGO Challenge

Students were given a BINGO sheet containing activities they can do to help the earth.

Complete all 9 activities and turn it in to the office by 5/1 to receive a prize.

The classroom with the highest participation gets a popsicle party!

Bring acceptable items to the school bins.

MVWSD INTERSCHOLASTIC CHESS TOURNAMENT ♟️

The 23rd Annual event, sponsored by your PTAs, will be hosted by Landels Elementary on Sunday, May 3rd, 10am-4:00pm at the Landels MUR.

Students from all MVWSD schools (TK-8th) are welcome to join and enjoy some friendly competition and camaraderie! The registration form and instructions can be found here. Any questions can be emailed to Angela.ge@gmail.com.
IMAI HOLI CELEBRATION 🎉

Join us on Sat, April 18th from 1–3pm for a vibrant afternoon filled with music, color, and community fun. Enjoy a lively DJ, play with festive colors, and savor delicious Indian snacks.

EAGLEFEST 🎟️

One of our favorite PTA sponsored events, Eaglefest, will be here soon!
-
Save the Date: Friday, May 15, 5-8PM
-
If you haven’t been to Eaglefest before, it’s a FREE school-wide carnival and a chance to celebrate the end of the year.
-
We will have inflatable and bouncy houses, a rock climbing wall, a DJ with karaoke, a photo booth, face painting, games, food trucks, and the return of cotton candy!

More details and volunteer sheet coming soon.

In the meantime, to make it happen, we need a few folks to jump in to help us with planning.

We need about 3 volunteers to help with simple planning tasks. Most roles should just take a few hours.
