December 14, 2022

Brrrr! Hope you're all staying warm this week! Read on below for a few bits of community news:

  • HELP NEEDED THIS FRIDAY while our teachers/staff celebrate
  • WALKATHON PLANNING: Save the date, and volunteers needed
  • THANK YOU for great support of Castro Elementary

HELP NEEDED FRIDAY AT LUNCHTIME: We need helpers this Friday, Dec. 16, while our teachers/staff enjoy a holiday lunch party from Imai PTA! To allow them time to celebrate together, we need parents to help with lunch and yard duty. We welcome any badged volunteers or any Imai parents who have volunteered less than 3 times thus far.  Your help will be so appreciated by our teachers and staff! Sign up here.

WALKATHON 2023 IS COMING: Save the date! Saturday, March 18 will be our 2nd annual Imai Walkathon. It's a fun event to gather with the community and raise funds for our school. We need about 5 more volunteers to join our planning committee. Most of the jobs are simple and small in scope, so please consider joining us to make our event great! Email for more information or to volunteer.

THANKS FOR YOUR GIVING: We delivered a full carload of supplies and warm coats to Castro Elementary for their kids, families and teachers. Thanks to all who helped us fulfill their wish list! Principal Jackee was extremely grateful for all the donations. If you haven't bought your wish list items to the office, its not too late: we'll make another trip with additional coats and last-minute wish list items before the holiday break.

Have a great week!
