NEWS & REMINDERS from IMAI ELEMENTARY PTA October 18, 2022

Take action, help out at school, and plan for a few things happening this week and next! Read on below for details on these important news bits:

LAST CALL FOR OPEN AUCTION ITEMS: There are some great items still available from our big Auction fundraiser! The last day to bid will be this Friday, Oct. 21. Visit our online auction catalog to view the remaining items, which include:

• Imai Campout (family event, Item 301)
• Imai Outdoor Movie Night (family event, Item 302)
• Paint and Sip with Principal Siam (adult event, Item 307-308)
• The coveted Fifth Grade Sleepover (item 235)
• Many grade-level parties for your kids hosted by teachers, staff, and other families (see Konstella announcements for details from your room parents or view online)

These events are a great way for kids AND parents to meet new friends, strengthen our community, and provide financial support for our PTA and school. We hope you'll join us at some of these events.... and thanks for your support!

LUNCHTIME VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Our school relies on us! Volunteers are needed THIS WEEK for morning snack time and lunchtime. If you can help, contact Principal Siam. 

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR NEXT WEEK: It's back! The Scholastic Book Fair goes live online TOMORROW and in-person sales in the MUR all next week! The book fair is a favorite event of our students, with loads of books and related gift items for kids (and adults) of all ages. Proceeds support our school library and our teachers' classroom libraries.
Visit the book fair in the MUR during these hours next week:

• Monday thru Wednesday: 2:45 to 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday: Noon to 4pm, continuing with "Family Fun Night" from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. including the Waffle Roost food truck on site, and the school's "Trunk or Treat" in the parking lot starting at 6:00!
• Friday: Join us in the early morning! 7:15 - 8:00 a.m. for "Grownups 'n' Donuts"
