WALKATHON RECAP: A great success!
Wed, Mar 29 10:25am
Thank you to the Imai Community (and especially to our Walkathon Planning Committee) for a terrific 2nd walkathon!
It was such a fun event and a great chance to reconnect. We were thankful for a little sunshine and for Mrs. Siam's epic sportsmanship of letting the top pledge earners whip cream her!
We needed a little breather post-event, but we're back to share with you news of winners and milestones met.

Funds Raised: Pledges exceeded $23K, allowing us to earn a net fundraising goal (after accounting for additional revenues and expenses) of ~$24,500!

School Participation: We exceeded last year's amazing participation (actual attendees at the event) by 1%.  Over 73% of our students attended the walkathon this year!

Winning Classrooms:
Mrs. Chesley's class did an amazing job with both percent registration (86%) and pledges raised ($2200+), earning them both a popsicle party and an ice cream social as the lower grade winner in both categories.
Ms. Luongo's class won an ice cream social for being the top upper grade class with the most pledges ($2200+)!
Ms. Schaefer's class is a popsicle party winner for the highest registration percent (78%) for upper grade classes!
