WALKATHON REMINDERS

• Registration: We currently have 266 registered walkers!

  • Mon. Mar 9 is the deadline to REGISTER online ($14 including T-shirts). After Mar 9, walk-in registration at the walkathon ($20, no T-shirt). Top 2 classes with highest participation win a Popsicle Party!

  • Current standings:

    • 86% – Ms. Chesley, K & Ms. McCullough, 2nd (tied!!)

    • 77% – Mr. Mello, 4th

   

• Fundraising: The Walkathon IS A FUNDRAISER this year!

  • To maintain the PTA programs and resources our students count on, we have set a bold mission goal of $20,000, but we’ve raised only ~$4k so far. 

  • The most impactful thing you can do right now is to set up your student’s personal fundraising page. It only takes a few minutes, and it allows friends and family to support your student’s personal goal.

  • All personalized fundraising page emails have been sent out if you requested one at registration.

  • If you did not get an email or need any pointers or help in setting up your page, please reach out to walkathon2@imaipta.org and a Walkathon committee member can help.

• Volunteering: We need your help to make the event a success!

  • There are 40+ slots to be filled—help set up the track, check people in, hand out prizes, post-event tear down, etc. Please take a shift, especially parents of older kids!
