IT’S WALKATHON TIME! 

• Wait... What's a Walkathon? The 3rd Annual Imai Walkathon is a kid-favorite, fun-filled community-building social event AND a fundraiser. Students will enjoy a fun day with music, food, and friends, and they will earn incentives as they complete laps, all while supporting a great cause.

Great! What do I need to do?

• Register Today! Cost is $13 per student/sibling walker and includes a Walkathon T-Shirt. If you register after 2/26, you are not guaranteed a T-shirt. 
• Make a Pledge Page. A Pledge Page is similar to a GoFundMe campaign. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email, with a link to create a Pledge Page for each of your walkers.  Click on the link, follow the instructions, and your Pledge Page is created in less than a minute. Now, you can start sharing with family and friends, near and far, and they can easily make a donation online via credit card.

LUNAR NEW YEAR ASSEMBLY: If you celebrated Lunar New Year this past week, would you be willing to share what your family did, what traditions you have, or what community cultural events you attended? Or, perhaps you have some pictures to share? The Lunar New Year assembly is scheduled for Mon, Feb 26 at 12:30-1:30pm. Please email Mrs. Siam (asiam@mvwsd.org) if you are available and interested. 

GIRLS ON THE RUN 2024: Registration open *5 spots left*

• Overview: Girls on the Run is a program that inspires girls of all abilities to recognize their individual strengths, while building a sense of connection in a team setting. Coaches facilitate 20 lessons (10 weeks) that blend physical activity with life skill development to enable girls to adapt to whatever comes their way. At the end of the season, the team completes a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset into motion.
• Who: Girls in 3rd-5th grade. Financial Aid available. 
• When: Practices held Tu and Fri, 2:50-4:20 pm, Mar 5- May 17
