DESTINATION IMAGINATION UPDATE

  • This past weekend, five teams of 3rd–5th graders proudly represented our school at the Destination Imagination regional tournament, where every part of each project—ideas, stories, costumes, sets, props, and structures—is created entirely by the students. These students have been working since the beginning of the school year, and we’re thrilled to share that four of the five teams advanced to the state tournament in April—an incredible accomplishment! We’re very proud of all our teams and a huge thank you to all the parent volunteers whose time and support made this possible. And a special shout out to Daryl Puryear who supported this program from start to finish!

  • We also held an assembly on Tuesday where the teams showcased portions of their performances and creations—be sure to ask your 2nd–5th grader about it! If your child is interested in participating next year, you can join our mailing list here: https://forms.gle/eqHVtv994B11T7k69 and attend an information session in August.

  • More info about Destination Imagination can be found on their website.
