By HOSTING A PARTY, EVENT OR EXPERIENCE, other Imai families can sign up to attend. This can be an event for adults, kids, or families. You host the event and decide how many people can attend, when it will happen, and what the appropriate fee is. Members of the Imai community will sign up to participate, which raises money for Imai AND builds our school community. • What is it? Our annual adults-only party! We raise money for our school and sign up for events that help us all build community with other Imai families. Here are some additional FAQs to explain what this event is and how it works.

• What kind of items will be up for bid? Fun grade-level activities featuring your kid’s favorite teachers, Imai staff, and their classmates. Favorites include Principal for a Day, Family Movie Night, Tacos and Tequila tasting, fun challenges, and much, much more!

• Great! How else can I help? Glad you asked… We need EVERYONE’s help to make this party a success. Here are some things you can do:

• DONATE for a silent auction item! Do you have a great item for a silent auction you're willing to donate to Imai, or know someone who does? Do you have a timeshare or vacation property you're willing to donate a few days at? Access to a special event (e.g., sporting event, concert or performance) or a wonderful skill you'd be willing to share with the Imai community? We need your help! If you have an item or an event you want to include in the auction, please email auction@imaipta.org.

• REGISTER and COME to the Auction Party for adults only on Dec 6th – enjoy a night out with your fellow Imai parents and teachers making this event a success. You'll be glad you did! Register HERE

• PTA General Meeting: Wed, 11/19 at 7-8 pm (on Zoom) - register here

• Principal’s Coffee TODAY 11/14: Topic "Report cards and how to interpret them"

• Holiday Gift Card Drive: We are asking for gift card donations for the holidays. The gift cards will benefit Imai families in need first, and the rest will be handed out to Mckv (homeless) families in the district. We are asking for Safeway, Target, Walmart or Costco for families to be able to purchase groceries. Please email them to Principal Siam at asiam@mvwsd.org or bring them to the office.

• Support us during Google’s Holiday Giving Campaign, Nov 10-21. Google gives $400 per employee to donate to a nonprofit of their choice.

• If you’re an employee, please consider donating to the Amy Imai Elementary PTA (Tax ID: 77-0492242) and/or Mountain View Educational Foundation (MVEF) (Tax ID: 77-0006770)

• It costs you nothing and will help our Mountain View community!
