The Innovation Middle School Community Foundation provides financial support for charitable, literacy, mathematic, scientific, or other educational purpose to Innovation Middle School of the San Diego Unified School District.  We need volunteers like you!  Join and be a part of our parent team!

Presides over Parent Foundation meetings, planning for events, and parent volunteers.

Manages the Parent Foundation budget, reviews requests for expenditures, provides information on funds available, deposits funds, keeps a running balance sheet, writes checks as needed for approved school expenditures. Also assists in budget development.

Secretary/Administrative Assistant (on Board of Directors) Signed Up: 0 / 1

Keeps a Minute Book of Parent Foundation Meetings, distributes the Minutes to members after the meeting, keep By-Laws, drafts and sends Notice of Meetings.

Assists in communicating school events to parents via Konstella, social media and the school web site.

Approves membership, maintains Konstella Calendar, posts announcements

Creates and emails volunteer sign up sheets on Konstella, reconfirms volunteers who have signed up via email and/or phone.

Oversees all iParties (4) during the year. Purchases the snacks and works with the Volunteer Coordinator to manage volunteers.

Heads the iMiddle annual Color Run Jog a thon in March

Coordinates various fundraisers throughout the year

Finds local restaurants willing to have fundraisers for IMiddle and schedule each month.

Awards Ceremony Coordinator Signed Up: 0 / 1

Coordinates with the Volunteer Coordinators to have students set up desserts for the award ceremonies. One from each grade (6th, 7th and 8th)
