Our first-ever Vargas school dance is happening on Thursday, February 13, from 5:30–7:30 PM at the MUR. You won’t want to miss it! There will be dancing, games, prizes, and a bake sale run by our 5th graders to support their class t-shirts. Try your skills at limbo, freeze dance, and other fun games! A big hoot to our amazing parent volunteer Leah for organizing this exciting event! We still need a few helping hands for all the fun stations we have in mind. It’s a casual dance, but feel free to dress up if you’d like to make it extra special. We cannot wait to see our Vargas community come together for a night of fun and celebration! Volunteer for the STEAM Museum Exhibit on February 28th during school hours
The PTA is bringing the STEAM Museum (by MobileEd Productions) to Vargas on Friday, February 28, for an exciting hands-on experience during school hours! Students will rotate through 12 interactive exhibits, and we need parent volunteers to help make this event a success. Volunteers will assist at some exhibits, providing small group instruction to enhance the learning experience. If you can help, please sign up for a shift (or more)! Check-in at the front office with a valid ID or volunteer badge upon arrival. This is a fantastic way to support our young scientists, engineers, and artists.
