FMSC is a non-profit that engages volunteers to prepare meal packets that they distribute to partner NGOs around the world. Those NGOs engage families for at least a year to make sure kids in the program have consistent daily meals. Addressing that food insecurity allows the kids to focus on kid things, not where and when they might get their next meal. It's a great cause and volunteering is a lot of fun. Groups of 13-15 people work at food packing stations to fill, seal, and box up the meal packets. There is a sense of friendly competition to see who can pack the most boxes. Adults can help in the warehouse. Other volunteers are needed to put labels on bags.
