Please see below for resources and opportunities to engage this summer.
Parent Resources for Summer Reading
The DCPS English Language Arts (ELA) team has compiled texts and experiences for elementary and secondary grade levels to use during the summer that are aligned to the ELA curriculum. The lists are designed to provide students and families with guided choices as they engage in independent summer reading. Lists include a range of interests, "reading levels" and types of experiences; students should be encouraged to read texts that are interesting and explore exciting opportunities in the District.
