Dear Johnson Park parents, 

We need your help please!

Every year our parents contribute a great deal to JP's success and social environment by hosting party boards: we cannot do it without our parents! This community has become as tight as it is because of the dedicated parents we have. We appreciate you and we need your help!

Below is a list of party boards for which we need more co-hosts.  Please read the descriptions and sign up for any or as many of the party boards as you are willing to host.  It is a very fun way to get to know your community.  Need to know more about party board hosting?  No problem, see the details below or call Elmé at 609-955-0416.

WAIT....What IS a "Partyboard"???

Put simply - a party that raises money for our school!  It does so through parents who donate a party or an event to the school and the school selling tickets to this event first at our JP Venetian masquerade ball on October 29th and then on October 31 to all people who did not attend the masquerade ball.   If you haven't got tickets to the Venetian Masquerade ball yet, you don't want to miss this event!  Get tickets here:

There are only 13 tickets left!  So don't wait.  You must purchase tickets before 5:00 PM on October 20, 2022.

The money raised from partyboards support our school residencies, events, programs and more at Johnson Park. When you attend our JP Venetian Masquerade on Saturday Oct 29th, you'll have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2022/2023 party boards on a first-come, first-served basis.

On Monday October 24, 2022 all parents will receive a preview of party boards that will go on sale in a special JP party board 22/23 booklet so that you can decide which tickets you will try to get.

What is a party board host?

A host sponsors or donates a party (most often with co-hosts) and tickets to this party (or event) is sold to other parents or children for the benefit of the school.  So if you like hosting parties, this is really a win-win situation all around: you get to host a social event and the school benefits greatly from the income generated from this event.  Most importantly, you contribute to the social bond of the JP community!

What is a partyboard?

A party that raises money for our school. It can be an adult dinner party,  kids sports or arts party or any other happening that is hosted by members of our JP community (parents or teachers). You then have the opportunity to purchase tickets to attend the party (or parties) of your choosing. If you are new to JP, party boards are a GREAT way to meet other JP families. 

Who are partyboards for?

Everyone! There are adult-only party boards and also kids-only party boards. Some examples of adult partyboards that have been hosted in the past: holiday themed parties, jolly trolly Princeton tours, ladies night, wine tasting and other themed dinner parties. Some examples of kids partyboards that have been hosted in the past: Laser tag Battles, Gaga competition, Sports with Dr. S and many more! 

Who hosts a partyboard?

Any willing adult! JP parents and teachers can host a partyboard. Whoever hosts a partyboard is responsible for funding it. There is no reimbursement. Our school benefits from the sale of the partyboard tickets. Most often, multiple hosts come together to host a partyboard - which makes it more fun! 

What ARE the 2022/2023 party board offerings?

A brochure of all party board offerings will be coming home in your child's folder soon! Below is a list of party board for which we still need co-hosts.  A brochure of all party board offerings will also be distributed at JP Venetian Masquerade Ball. 

How much does it cost and what are my responsibilities?

Hosting a party board can cost anywhere from $200 to $500 - it depends on what you are willing to commit to and what you would like to contribute.  All contributions are welcome and much appreciated.  Your responsibilities depends on the type of party you are hosting but may include:

• developing fun games and activities for your event
• arranging food and beverage options for your guests with co-hosts
• volunteering your home or another venue for the event (only 1 host required per party)
• communicating with your guests prior to the event 
• working with the fundraising VPs to ensure a successful and stress free party board that meets your expectations.
• Sharing photos and data about your party board/event with the fundraising group to ensure continuity and future success of party boards.

A continuación se muestra una lista de la junta directiva de la fiesta para la que necesitamos más coanfitriones. Lea las descripciones e inscríbase en cualquiera de los foros de fiestas que esté dispuesto a organizar. El dinero recaudado de partyboards apoya nuestras residencias escolares, eventos, programas y más en Johnson Park. Cuando asista a nuestra Mascarada veneciana de JP el sábado 29 de octubre, tendrá la oportunidad de comprar boletos para los tableros de la fiesta 2022/2023 por orden de llegada.

El lunes 24 de octubre de 2022 todos los padres recibirán un adelanto de los party boards que saldrán a la venta en un cuadernillo especial JP party board 22/23 para que podáis decidir qué entradas intentaréis conseguir.

¿Qué es un anfitrión del tablero de la fiesta?

Un anfitrión patrocina o dona una fiesta (la mayoría de las veces con coanfitriones) y las entradas para esta fiesta (o evento) se venden a otros padres o niños en beneficio de la escuela. Entonces, si te gusta organizar fiestas, esta es realmente una situación en la que todos ganan: puedes organizar un evento social y la escuela se beneficia enormemente de los ingresos generados por este evento. ¡Lo más importante es que contribuyes al vínculo social de la comunidad de JP!

¿Qué es un tablero de fiesta?

Una fiesta que recauda dinero para nuestra escuela. Puede ser una cena para adultos, una fiesta deportiva o artística para niños o cualquier otro evento organizado por miembros de nuestra comunidad JP (padres o maestros). Entonces tienes la oportunidad de comprar boletos para asistir a la fiesta (o fiestas) que elijas. Si eres nuevo en JP, los tableros de fiestas son una GRAN manera de conocer a otras familias de JP.

¿Para quién son los partyboards?

¡Todo el mundo! Hay tableros de fiesta solo para adultos y también tableros de fiesta solo para niños. Algunos ejemplos de partyboards para adultos que se han organizado en el pasado: fiestas temáticas navideñas, jolly trolly tours de Princeton, noches de damas, degustación de vinos y otras cenas temáticas. Algunos ejemplos de partyboards para niños que se han organizado en el pasado: Laser tag Battles, Gaga competition, Sports with Dr. S y muchos más.

¿Quién organiza un partyboard?

¡Cualquier adulto dispuesto! Los padres y maestros de JP pueden organizar una fiesta. Quien sea el anfitrión de un partyboard es responsable de financiarlo. No hay reembolso. Nuestra escuela se beneficia de la venta de las entradas partyboard. La mayoría de las veces, varios anfitriones se unen para organizar un partyboard, ¡lo que lo hace más divertido!

¿Cuáles SON las ofertas de la junta del partido 2022/2023?

¡Pronto recibirá en la carpeta de su hijo un folleto con todas las ofertas de la junta de fiestas! A continuación se muestra una lista de la junta directiva de la fiesta para la que aún necesitamos coanfitriones. También se distribuirá un folleto de todas las ofertas de la junta del partido en el JP Venetian Masquerade Ball.

¿Cuánto cuesta y cuáles son mis responsabilidades?

Organizar una junta de fiesta puede costar entre $ 200 y $ 500;

depende de lo que esté dispuesto a comprometerse y lo que le gustaría contribuir.

Todas las contribuciones son bienvenidas y muy apreciadas.

Sus responsabilidades dependen del tipo de fiesta que esté organizando, pero pueden incluir:

desarrollando divertidos juegos y actividades para tu evento
organizar opciones de alimentos y bebidas para sus invitados con los coanfitriones
ofrecer su casa u otro lugar como voluntario para el evento (solo se requiere 1 anfitrión por fiesta)
comunicarse con sus invitados antes del evento
trabajando con los vicepresidentes de recaudación de fondos para garantizar una junta de fiesta exitosa y libre de estrés que cumpla con sus expectativas.
Compartir fotos y datos sobre el evento/tablero de su fiesta con el grupo de recaudación de fondos para garantizar la continuidad y el éxito futuro de los tableros de la fiesta.
