Dear Parents,

As a new school year is right around the corner, we are all getting ready to welcome back our students moving on to their next grade, and last week we welcomed our very new kindergarten students.

For this upcoming school year, we have over 80 new families who will join the wonderful community of Johnson Park School. We need to make them feel welcomed as well, and in order to do so, Dr S. and the Parent Teacher Organization of Johnson Park School are putting the final touches to the "Open House Day" for our new families that will take place this coming Thursday, September 1st, from 8-9am.

To make them feel extra welcomed, our new crop of fifth graders will guide the new families through Johnson Park, and then pastries and beverage will be served during the presentations of Dr S., Nurse Liz and representatives of the PTO.

To make this event a success like the Kindergarten Orientation Day of last week, we are once more looking for enthusiastic parents who are able to volunteer to help setting up the cafeteria and assisting with various tasks that will not be very time consuming. Please see below the tasks where volunteers are needed and if you can, just sign up and show up! We know we can count on you to give our new families a warm welcome to Johnson Park! 😊
