The purpose of this session by HiTOPS is to learn about the three separate, yet related constructs of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. An introduction of basic terminology that relates to each construct is provided, as are the implications for schools, families, and work environments.

In addition to the training, we will review our collaboration with JP and the content that will be covered with the students. Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will have presentations in March.

El propósito de esta sesión de HiTOPS es aprender sobre las tres construcciones separadas pero relacionadas de la orientación sexual, la identidad de género y la expresión de género. Se proporciona una introducción a la terminología básica que se relaciona con cada constructo, al igual que las implicaciones para las escuelas, las familias y los entornos laborales.
