Reading to Rescue

What is it?  Reading to Rescue is a read-a-thon and educational event sponsored by Princeton Regional Education Association (PREA) to benefit Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad (PFARS). 

About PFARS: PFARS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. They do not receive funding through the town and rely on  fundraising, donations, and billing to sustain the organization and provide our community with emergency services.

What will the money raised be used for? This fundraiser will help PFARS obtain things such as much needed vehicles, like the rescue truck, and support their day-to-day operations.

How do I participate? 

The final day of reading counted for the read-a-thon is TOMORROW, May 14! Your children received the read-a-thon packet in their folders at the end of April. No worries if you can't find it, the information and pledge form are attached. Visit PFARS.org for more information!

Reading to Rescue (Leer para rescatar)

¿Qué es? Reading to Rescue (Leer para rescatar) es una maratón de lectura y un evento educativo patrocinado por la Asociación de Educación Regional de Princeton (PREA) en beneficio del Escuadrón de Primeros Auxilios y Rescate de Princeton (PFARS).

Acerca de PFARS: PFARS es una organización sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3). No reciben fondos a través de la ciudad y dependen de la recaudación de fondos, las donaciones y la facturación para sostener la organización y brindar servicios de emergencia a nuestra comunidad.
¿A qué se destinará el dinero recaudado? Esta recaudación de fondos ayudará a PFARS a obtener cosas como vehículos muy necesarios, como el camión de rescate, y apoyará sus operaciones diarias.

¿Cómo participo?

¡El último día de lectura contado para el maratón de lectura es MAÑANA, 14 de mayo! Sus hijos recibieron el paquete del maratón de lectura en sus carpetas a finales de abril.
