Hello JP Families!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation week is coming up next week on May 6-10, including Principal's Appreciation Day on May 1st and School Nurse’s Day on May 8th.  We will be celebrating all of our favorite "Eras" at Johnson Park. 

The PTO will be recognizing all teachers & staff each day of the week in various ways and will also acknowledge Dr. S. and  Nurse Liz's extraordinary efforts with a personal gift on their special days. 

However, it is equally - if not much more! - meaningful for our teachers and staff to be acknowledged by their own students.

Please consider asking your student(s) to recognize their teacher, a specials teacher, and/or a favorite staff member.  *Please note that by recognition, we do not mean a monetary contribution or gift* -- rather, something created by a student, such as a handwritten note, a picture, painting or drawing, or a homemade card, is sure to be cherished! 

Teachers at JP tell us that they have kept many of these notes, drawings and memories of their past classrooms for many, many years. 

Thank you for helping each teacher and staff member at Johnson Park School feel how very much we appreciate their dedication to our students.
