We are excited to announce JP's first clothing swap!
Please send in your lovely, clean, lightly-worn festive clothing that you may no longer need in your home. This includes dressy holiday clothing for winter concerts and recitals (button down shirts, dress pants, belts and shoes), as well as holiday dresses and other festive clothing for all ages. We know how quickly kids grow out of these special outfits-- wouldn't it be wonderful for another JP family to give it another chance to shine?
JP's Green Team (including Ms. Garriton's Fifth graders) will sort and arrange items so they are available to browse during Parent Teacher Conferences (Nov 20-26). The last day to donate is Nov 15 so please take a look at your closets and see what you can find!
Thank you very much to Becky Schutt (mom of third grader, Joseph, and JP alum, Lila) for suggesting this idea. Thank you to Ms. Garriton for continuing to head up Green initiatives at JP.
Remember: clothing swaps are a fun and effective way to REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE so we can all do our part. Donations can be placed in the clothing swap box in JP's main entry vestibule.
Thank you for considering and happy swapping!!!
