Dear Parents,

 

We would like to give you an important update about the school-wide residency, Passport to JP International.

 

Due to the fact that we have not been able to fill enough sessions to provide a similar and equitable experience to each of our classrooms, that one of the three sessions was very underrepresented thus preventing the students from being exposed to a significant part of the world, and taking into account the feedback we received this week from the teachers, the PTO regrettably has to cancel Passport to JP International. 

 

We would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all the parents who registered to proudly introduce their country, and to apologise for the inconvenience this last minute cancellation may create and for the time you may have already dedicated to prepare your presentation. Should you have spent any money to purchase items for your presentation, please reach out to either Kathleen Brennan or Brooke Cole so that the PTO can refund you. Likewise, if you have questions, concerns or comments, please reach out to one of us.

 

Though it is disappointing to not have the opportunity to experience this event, the PTO is already working on hopefully bringing back International Night next year, where you may once more be invited to present your country through food, music and fun activities.
