Help Us Reach Our Goals!
Our PTO raises money to support our children through two main events - our Fall Donation Drive and Party Boards. It has budgeted to spend close to $60,000 for the coming school year. The Donation Drive funds fun events like our two annual JP Family picnics, movie nights, family BINGO, Kindergarten and 5th Grade Graduation activities, but it also funds beloved traditions at Johnson Park. Some of those include school wide spirit wear, grade specific residencies (an artist or professional leads our students in a exploration of a topic.) Examples have been our timeless drum making residency, professional poets, journalism, science and STEAM enrichment.
Your donation helps the PTO bring these events and enrichments to every student at Johnson Park! We have kicked off our Donation Drive and will continue through Sep. 30th. You can help us bring these events to life by making your donation on our Konstella site or send in an envelope marked PTO to the Johnson Park office. No donation is too big or too small - and since we are a PTO you are already a member and welcome at all of our events, no membership necessary!
Upcoming Events
We hope you will join us at Johnson Park for Back to School Night on Thursday September 19th. Come meet your child’s teacher(s), visit their classroom and get a view into what their day looks like at JP! Stop by the cafeteria to meet the specials teachers, the PTO, representatives from the Book Fair, the Koko Fund, and many others! Make sure to save the date for our school wide
FALL PICNIC on Wednesday September 25th - 5-7 pm! This is a FREE event and ALL JP families are invited!

Communications
The PTO uses Konstella as its main source of communication. Konstella sends messages to your emails and phones when opted in by parents. Those emails can be translated into 70+ languages using a button on the upper right hand corner. At tthe bottom of our Konstella messages will be a plain text version of our flyers, and newsletters. This allows for easier translation and access for those with disabilities.
