VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Morning Drop Off Assistants - Feb 24 - Feb 28
Johnson Park School

 

An orderly car line helps students safely reach school on time and also allows our school to start classes on time at Johnson Park.

 

We are looking for parent VOLUNTEERS to help with making the drop off line a success for our students and morning staff members. Please consider helping for a morning or two next week - February 24th - February 28th

Volunteers will help students arriving at JP, helping students exit cars and with flow of traffic in front of JP. 

 

 

The morning car drop off starts at 8:00 AM, and students should be dropped off no later than 8:20 so they can walk to class before the bell rings at 8:25. Please stay in your car and pull all the way up to drop your student off with the appropriate staff members.

 

If you arrive after 8:25 am, please park your car and walk your child into the school - they will need you to sign them in. 

 

The afternoon car dismissal starts at 3:00 PM. If you arrive before dismissal time, please form a line in the front of school, making sure to avoid the bus lane.  You will pull forward and pick your child up at the front of the line. Please stay in your car! 

 

If you need more time to drop off or pick up your student from Johnson Park ( who doesn't love a last hug and goodbye!) then please park along General Johnson Way at the bottom of the hill and walk your child up to the building, or park and walk up to pick up your student on the Green Top.
