The Kahoa Science Fair for grades K-2 is approaching on Tuesday, March 20. The deadline to turn in a registration form is this Friday, March 9 if your child is interested in participating. Registration forms can be turned in to your student's teacher who will turn them in to the PTO.
The Science Fair is a great chance for students to work on a project outside of class and have the opportunity to explain their project to a judge (who is usually a teacher or parent interested in science).
The Science Fair is the topic of tomorrow's PTO meeting (Tuesday, March 6 from 7-8 pm) and will include science demonstrations. Students are welcome to attend the meeting with their parent(s) as well to learn about the process and get ideas.
Attached is an information packet and the registration form.
