A newly formed Kahoa Science Fair Committee is seeking committee members. The role of a committee member may range from arranging food for the judges, preparing and organizing paperwork (ie. track registration information, prepare participation certificates), being ready to jump in when the role is more defined, and being available the evening of the science fairs to help as needed. Duties will be divided among committee members. This is a great way to become involved at Kahoa. Need not have a science background to volunteer; just a desire to provide an outlet for students to grow in their enrichment of the sciences.
The science fair is split into two nights – The first fair is on Thursday, February 15 and is for grades 3-5; the second fair is on Tuesday, March 20 and is for grades K-2. All grades are invited to come view the projects each night – viewing is not limited to students in those grades.
