The Kaiser community wanted to be sure to publicly acknowledge and appreciate the members of our community that were brutally attacked and then arrested by Oakland Police, School Police, and District Security who were armed with batons, mace, and guns at the last school board meeting on October 23, 2019.
We thank you for your sacrifice, and for bringing more awareness to the school closure issue that is affecting so many Oakland students. We respect your tenacity and your willingness to keep the movement going. Oakland is not for sale!
