Dear Kaiser Volunteers,
Thank you for all that you do. In normal circumstances we'd be thanking you for driving on field trips, helping in the classrooms, sitting on the PTA board, volunteering for our many fundraisers, helping in the library, and all of the things that you amazing parents, grandparents, caregivers, community volunteers, and other family and friends do to help our school and our students thrive. And we do thank you for all of that. Before schools closed, we provided learning experiences for our students that would not have been possible without all of your help and participation. But this year we are thanking you for so much more. Thank you for partnering with us in ways before unimaginable, for taking on the brunt of the hands-on work of overseeing your child's education, all the while dealing with the many complications and complexities that this global pandemic has thrust upon us. Kudos to you all! Whether you think you are nailing it on the daily or struggling just to find balance and to do the bare minimum for your student, kudos to you. You have our humble gratitude for partnering with us in this new and unexpected way. You have our respect for the challenges that you have had to navigate. You have our thanks for the myriad of ways you've stepped up and navigated parenting in ways that you never thought you'd have to. The beauty and truth of what Kaiser is, was, and always will be in our hearts and minds is that we are community. It takes a village. It has become a cliche, but it's true. We know that now more than ever. So thank you, one and all, thank you to everyone who has partnered with us on this journey. Thank you to all who make Kaiser an amazing community in which to live and learn. Please check out our short videos of appreciation on Flipgrid.
With gratitude and appreciation,
The Kaiser Elementary Faculty and Staff
