~~~~~~~~
Hello Kaiser Elementary Families.
This is your principal, Dennis Guikema.  It was wonderful seeing so many of you at registration last week.  And we can not wait to see all of our Kaiser kiddos tomorrow morning for our first day of classes!   Please join me in giving an especially warm welcome to our new families.
Nearly 250 of our 280 students were registered last week.   If you were unable to make the registration dates, please remember that you must first register your child Monday morning in our main office before they can continue to class.
As you know, our school day starts at 8:45 AM.   Families are welcome to drop off children any time after 8:30 AM, or as early as 7 AM if they are enrolled in Adventure Time.   Please note that, unless your child is enrolled in Adventure Time, we do not provide supervision prior to 8:30 AM. You are encouraged to park in the neighborhood streets and walk your children up to our “upper field” to meet their teacher.
Please remember when dropping off and picking up your children, to only do so a the curbside in front of school.   Please, also, respect the “no parking” zone in the areas leading up to the campus on Hiller and Hill Ct. Cars parked in these posted areas or in the traffic circle, may be ticketed.
Dismissal for our first week of classes is at 1:30 PM.   Please pick your child up no later than 1:45, unless they are in Adventure Time.   Next week, we will have our normal 3 PM dismissal, however ALL Wednesdays are 1:30 dismissal minimum days.
We ask all families to please save the date for our annual Back to School Night next Wednesday, August 22nd, at 6 PM, and remember that this is an adults only event.
We have a great school year in store!  We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
