Room parents play a key role in creating a strong classroom community! As a room parent, you’ll support your teacher with classroom activities and serve as a friendly link between the teacher and fellow parents. You’ll also collaborate with other room parents, PTO board members, and school staff to help make events and activities a success. Tasks may include organizing classroom celebrations, coordinating volunteers for field trips, gathering photos for the yearbook, promoting school and PTO events, collecting donations—and so much more! It’s a fun and meaningful way to stay connected and make a big impact.
