Do You Like to Volunteer?
Want to Make a Difference in Someone’s Life?
If you answered “yes”, Parents & Staff are invited to participate in the:
“4th Annual Warm Snuggly Blanket”
hosted by La Paz Intermediate, to make “no sew” fleece blankets for Saddleback Memorial cancer patients.
Monday, March 26th in the MPR
1:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
These blankets will bring a lot of comfort and warmth to women receiving treatment for breast and ovarian cancer - you WILL make a difference in their lives.
Ways to help:
- Come and help us make blankets!
- Donate fleece (in 2-yard increments). When choosing patterns, please keep in mind that these blankets will be given to adult women.
- Donate or lend us your fabric scissors (they make the job so much easier than regular scissors!)
- Donate Joanns or Michaels gift cards, or cash (Mrs. Armstrong will make a trip to DTLA to purchase fleece-any cash donated will help her purchase fleece at discounted prices at the fabric district)
