Happy Lunar New Year and Black History Month! While Black History Month is a nationally recognized month to celebrate the history and achievement of African-Americans, we are really only honoring Black history and achievement when it is consistently woven into our curriculum year-round.
This month’s DEI committee meeting is on February 7, 2022, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. We will be using the Zoom link below. We will continue to reflect on the 21 Day Challenge and reflect on the SPEAKSF event featuring Ijeoma Oluo, author of “So You Want to Talk About Race.”
