Sanjay is the father of rising Grade 1 student, Krish Babaria. He serves as Director of Research at the Center for Primary Care at Harvard Medical School and Director of Research and Population Health at Collective Health. He graduated from MIT, was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, then completed his MD and Ph.D. at Yale before his residency at the University of California in San Francisco. Sanjay has published over 250 peer-reviewed research publications in the fields of medicine and public health, was listed among the “Top 100 global thinkers” by Foreign Policy magazine; been awarded the New Innovator Award by the Director of the National Institutes of Health; and received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. He practices medicine at San Francisco’s Integrated Care Center for homeless adults, and serves on the faculty of the School of Public Health at Imperial College London.
