For Earth Day, K-3rd grade students painted rocks for our school garden. We need grown up volunteers to help us write kindness words on rocks (5-10 per person) before we can seal the rocks and add them to the yard.
If you're interested in helping with this, please email Meghan Butler: meghanpbutler@gmail.com!

As in years past, we’ll be stocking the teachers’ lounge with breakfast treats Monday through Thursday—and wrapping up the week with a catered lunch on Friday.
How can you help? By contributing to the breakfast spread!

The read-a-thon is finished and we're currently tabulating hours read and donations, but several parents have asked for an extension to return forms, especially for our Nature Bridge 5th graders. If you still have an outstanding reading form or need to finalize last minute-donations, we're extending the deadline to Tuesday, May 5th!
Reading forms and check/cash donations can be given to your student's classroom teacher, and online donations can be made through Paypal or GiveButter. We're incredibly close to our $30,000 goal, and all funds go towards funding programs like STEAM and ensuring out teachers have access to the resources they need! Thank you for making this year's read-a-thon such an incredible success!
Important Read-a-Thon Dates:
Tuesday, May 5: Final day reading forms will be accepted!
Week of May 11: Winner announcements and 57" Claude stuffie raffle!
Friday, May 15th: Students will celebrate with an assembly from our guest author Emma Bland Smith!
Do you love reading and want to help make the read-a-thon even better next year? Email LafayetteReads@gmail.com to share your thoughts, or join the committee and help out!
