Family STEAM Day Success!!
|
Thank you to everyone who came out for this year's Family STEAM Day. We have been receiving such great feedback and it looked like all the students had a great time exploring and learning about snails, fish and robots, or creating air rockets, paper airplanes, the largest tower or a shape out of pattern blocks.
A HUGE THANK YOU to our parent volunteers for helping to make Family STEAM Day such a wonderful experience for our students and families. We ended up with plenty of volunteers who assisted in setting-up, running tables, and cleaning up. Feel free to add to this album of photos of the event for our school yearbook.
And many thanks most especially to the Family STEAM Day Committee: Ms. Huang, Ms. Soulsby, and Ms. Young for making this entire event possible.

We Love Our Teachers and Staff!

The Teacher Appreciation Committee brought Arizmendi goodies to the staff lounge to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff. Thanks as always for all that you do!

Lafayette parent Cristina Manzanares helps manage a FREE weekly community rescue pantry called “Pantry 38.” The pantry is held (1-3 per week) in the outer Richmond and open to all residents living in The Richmond District. If you have Facebook, please join the private group.
We also have a great supplemental food pantry program through The Richmond Neighborhood Center located on 30th and Balboa. It’s simple to sign up as you just need to be a resident of The Richmond District. For more information about the RNC food pantry, and for opportunities to donate or volunteer, visit their website at: https://richmondsf.org/food-security/
