🏆 Lafayette PTA Turns 100!! 🏆 LAST PTA Meeting of the Year

Please join us for this month's PTA meeting on May 14th at 6pm in the Lafayette Auditorium!
It's the last one of the year, so expect to celebrate this year's success and look ahead to next year.
Plus, this is exciting: We just found out that our PTA will be getting an extra special legacy award for being in existence for 100 years! Our school district's PTA presidents will present the award at the meeting, so come and celebrate 100 years of Lafayette PTA!
As always, we'll have child care, light refreshments, and door prizes. See you there!
In order to be eligible to vote on our motions, you must be a paid member of the PTA for a minimum of 30 days.

☀️ Families, Don't Miss Field Day - May 29th
|
Field Day will be Thursday, May 29th at Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park! Thanks to the support of community members who moved quickly to replace items lost in the recent fire, we're getting ready for a fabulous Field Day.
Lafayette Field Day 2025 Volunteer Sign Up Sheet
What is Field Day?
This is a free event in which all classes will head to Golden Gate Park for a day of games, arts and crafts, fun snacks, and a potluck as we celebrate our community and the amazing school year. Families are encouraged to attend!
Sign up to volunteer!
The sign-up sheet is set up in 30 minute slots for our different activities and we have over 200 slots to fill. You can sign up for multiple slots as long as you are not in 2 at the same time. And you can cover consecutive slots (i.e. 1 person can sign up for 1.5 hours of 1 of 2 crossing guard slots in the morning).
Please remember, the success of this event is dependent on your willingness to volunteer! You can sign up right here:

Music, Art and Adventure Camp
|
Parent Cindy Lee wanted to share this camp recommendation. She says, "We have had a great time with her and just wanted to share in case people wanted another option for music."
Spend the summer with Music, Art & Adventure! We are a small, locally-owned day camp that meets in the Presidio, run by local musician/ecologist Emily Shumway and her husband, Harlan Hays, a San Francisco native and opera singer.
Music, Art and Adventure is 100% outdoors in the fresh, foggy air and we like it that way. At camp, we get to know the local ecology through science, arts & crafts, music, games, and play.
Campers spend their days exploring places like Baker Beach, El Polin Spring, Crissy Field and Inspiration Point.
Other exciting events include field trips, guest artists, camp-wide olympics, and more.
2025 Sessions: July 14-July 18 July 21-25 July 28-August 1 August 4-8 August 11-15
