This week, please check the lost and found racks to see if you spot any familiar items! On Friday (Dec 20), some items will be donated if not claimed.

And remember to label your student's jackets, water bottles, etc. That includes any new items they get over the winter holidays!

It's the last Spirit Wear Sale of 2024, featuring new designs as well as old faves! They make great presents. 🎁

On December 19th & 20th at morning drop-off, find us on the schoolyard. We'll have:

- One-size-fits-most knit beanies $20 - NEW!
- Adult no-zip hoodies $38 - NEW!
- Super soft grey tees for all! We even have some smaller sizes in the grey tee, for younger siblings $18 - NEW!
- More inventory of the classic blue zip hoodies $38

You can also order by email if you can't make it to the Spirit Wear Sale in person.

• Send an email to meghanpbutler@gmail.com. Include your order (size and style) and your child's classroom number.
• Pay via Venmo by Thursday afternoon. (Meghan will let you know your total and the Venmo account to pay.)
• Your order will be delivered to your child's classroom on Friday.

If your child(ren) participated in after-school enrichment in the Fall session, please fill out the feedback survey. Please note one survey should be filled out each class your child was enrolled in, so you may need to fill out the survey multiple times.

SIGN UP FOR NEXT SESSION

It's time to sign up for winter/spring after school enrichment classes!

Our winter and spring after-school enrichment programs are posted on Homeroom.com and it's time to sign up. The next session starts the week of January 13th and runs through May 30th. We have some great programs including sports, yoga, music, engineering, drama, gymnastics, capoeira, dance, and biking to name a few.

Check out the options on Homeroom.com and sign up now to reserve your spot.

In her School Social Work Newsletter for December, Lafayette school social worker Emily Newman shares resources for families about neurodiversity, Pride Club (meeting Tuesdays during 4th/5th grade morning recess), and more!

Join us at Lafayette on Wednesday, January 22nd at 1:15 for an afternoon of fun and interactive activities involving Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math!

The school day will end at the typical Wednesday time: 12:50pm. 

• Students who are not in after-school programs must be picked up as usual at 12:50pm, and families are invited to attend the event with their students. Until the event starts, you are welcome to spend time in the schoolyard (grownups are responsible for supervising their kids).
• Students in after-school programs will also have the opportunity to attend the event with their program staff.

Grown-ups are needed to VOLUNTEER as "explainers" at the stations. This is a fun volunteer gig where you get to help kids interact with the activity at your station. No special skills required! Please sign up right here.
