Hello Lafayette Community!! We're about 10 hours away from the 2025 FIELD DAY!!

Some last-minute details and reminders from the Field Day Committee : 

• We will assign tables in the schoolyard to specific grades for any supply drop offs. The signs will come out around 7:30 AM.

• Classes walk down together to the park with teachers and parent volunteers starting at 8:30 

• I don't think anyone living in the Richmond needs this reminder but dress for all 3 seasons. Wednesday started annoyingly chilly until the fog burned off at lunch then it was HOT (relative to SF standards). Also remember sunscreen!

• We have assigned grades to the picnic tables of the area, please refer to the attached map as to where your child's grade(s) will be located. We will also have signs on the picnic tables. 

• Please use the waste bins placed throughout the grassy area of Hellman Hollow and not the park waste receptacles. We will be taking our trash out at the end of the event. 

• You can take your child home after the event BUT PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SIGN YOUR CHILD OUT WITH THEIR TEACHER BEFORE LEAVING!! If your child isn't leaving with you they will walk back with their class to school. 

• Have Fun!! THAT'S MANDATORY
