📰 Admin Updates: We shared some background and information on the district's recent roadblocks that have slowed down our ELD and STEAM hiring process [link]

👨🏻‍🏫 ELD: We have a candidate, just seeking to work through the red tape to bring her officially on board. We are hoping to have her up and running soon!

🔬 STEAM: We have identified a vendor and are planning to launch a pilot program for 4th and 5th grade followed by a full roll out to all students in the spring semester. More information to come with full details and some updates on K-3 students and what STEAM-related support they will receive.

🏠 Storage Shed: We are working with a vendor to design an even bigger and better shed, we hope to have updates and timing at our next PTA meeting 🤞🏼

💸 Fundraising: We've revamped how we think about the PTA's fundraising efforts! If you've ever felt like we're always asking for money, hopefully this will help explain our main fundraising efforts and our community initiatives!

We hope to see you in-person or virtually at our next meeting on October 8th!

Thank you,
The Lafayette Elementary PTA
