Dear Lafayette Families & Community,

FIELD DAY IS NEXT THURSDAY!!! ☀️🐬

We are so excited for a day of games, treats, music, obstacle courses, sunshine, and community fun at Hellman Hollow — but we NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS to make this event happen safely and successfully.

Right now, we still have about 60 (out of 140) volunteer spots open, and we especially need help with:

🚸 Crossing Guard Duty at 36th & Fulton
Help students and families safely cross before and after the event. (Yes, you get to direct traffic!)

🏃 Inflatable Obstacle Course Supervision
Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Lafayette Student Council, a campaign promise will be fulfilled, and we'll have an inflatable at Field Day! 

This role is mainly helping manage lines and making sure only 2 kids go in at a time… and only 1 comes out.......JUST KIDDING! Everyone gets out. We promise. 😄

🥗 Please also check in with your Room Parent to make sure your class has enough food, drinks, and parent volunteers to walk with students to and from Hellman Hollow.

Even a short volunteer shift makes a huge difference and helps keep this beloved Lafayette tradition running for all of our students.
